GUIDELINES FOR STUDENTS DURING BLOCK EXAMS

  • Students only have to attend school when they have an exam. When at school STUDENTS ARE TO BE IN FULL SCHOOL UNIFORM.
  • Students will have individualised Block Exam Timetables.
  • A Master Timetable will be available.
  • The Exam Blocks are divided into two sessions – one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
  • If there isn’t a room for the exam, the default room is the Auditorium. (SA = auditorium).
  • Students are expected to be early to exams so that they are prepared both physically and mentally.
  • If a student cannot make it to an exam, a parent or guardian must notify the office and must provide a Medical Certificate upon the student's return. Students are to comply with the school's Assessment Policy (PDF, 401KB).
  • Students may leave the school grounds once the exam time period is finished and they have been released.
  • All school policies apply during Block Exams, for example, mobile phones and uniforms.
  • Students do not sign in or out for exams. A roll will be taken prior to the exam.
  • A study room will be provided – refer to the Administration Office for this information each day.
